In 2006, Hublot was chosen as the official watch of the Swiss Football Team. This partnership between Hublot and the Swiss Football Association (SFA) forges a link between Switzerland and prestige watchmaking, representing it throughout the world. Hublot has developed an exclusive watch in its Big Bang collection for the occasion, with a steel casing and bezel, a white dial with the white-on-red logo of the Swiss Football Association at 09:00, a large red second hand, a disk lug and lateral insert in black resin with the Swiss flag on the side at 09:00, a black natural rubber strap, automatic movement and exclusive hand-engraved logo of the ASF in red and white enamel.
With a break from conformity, the Hublot brand was born. Carlo Crocco, the Milanese watch afficionado, created a spare, clean and definitive brand. The Hublot porthole-based watch line is instantly recognizable. The twelve screws around the bezel not only act as hour markers, but also accentuate the naval theme.
